June is Pride month and we’re celebrating with some new BellingQUEERstory Tours

The Good Time Girls’ Sea Shanty Sing-a-long is back! The Bellingham Good Time Girls' will lead a rousing sing-a-long of sea shanties for a great cause—Bellingham SeaFeast! Join us at Boundary Bay Brewery on Saturday, March 11 from 5-8pm. $10 donation at the door.

Being purveyors of good times here in Bellingham, we’ve compiled a list of suggestions to engage all your senses this St. Valentine’s Day! Whether your joining us for our Lonely Tart’s Club Virtual Valentine’s event, or doing your own thing, read on for cocktail recipes from our own mix-mistress Sarah, our favorite take-out offerings around town, and a specially curated Valentine’s Day inspired playlist with songs of love and lament (and everything in-between).

Well 2021 is off to a rollicking start! We are doing our best to keep moving forward, onward and upward... We hope everyone is staying safe and sane during the midst of these historic times.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while we update our offerings for this new year.

We will continue to offer small private in-person tours in 2021, until it is safe to again congregate in larger groups.  We now have private tours of Bayview Cemetery available, and more new tours in the works.

This year the Good Time Girls’ annual celebration of holiday themed Belling-history and seasonal fun is going virtual!

We are offering some fun virtual events in conjunction with Bellingham Parks and Recreation for your autumnal enjoyment! A great option at half-price our normal tours and you don’t have to leave your couch! Some fun seasonal content including Bayview Cemetery history, spooky historical tales live from Woodstock Farms, and those mysterious Fairhaven Markers!

It’s that time of year again, time for Bellingham’s Annual SeaFeast Festival, celebrating Bellingham’s maritime bounty and heritage. A few years ago we joined forced with our beloved Sea Shanty Singalong to start a new SeaFeast tradition!This year we will be singing salty songs in the Mountain Room at Boundary Bay, following the Fisher Poets on Bellingham Bay on Saturday, September 21st.

We have been working on amassing as much local LGBTQ related Belling-history as possible over the years. This is an ongoing project to which we are dedicated! We are excited to share what we know thus far with y’all in a free PILOT tour this weekend during Bellingham PRIDE.

We’re having a party to celebrate the kickoff of our 2019 Summer Tour Season, and the premier of BELLINGHAM CRIBS EPISODE 2! THURSDAY JUNE 20th from 7-9 PM in the MOUNTAIN ROOM AT BOUNDARY BAY

We’re excited to announce this opportunity to get outside and get some FREE Belling-history this summer with three guided historical tours in partnership with the Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department.

Good Time Girl guides will lead three different historical walking tours based around Maritime Heritage Park and Whatcom Creek!

When and why were roads first paved on a major scale?  What's the difference between an Ordinary and a safety?  What revolutionary change came to cycling in the 1890's, what significance did the bicycle have for women - and why did penny-farthings have such a big front wheel? Learn the answers to these questions, and many more. Join husband and wife Gabriel and Sarah Chrisman as they give a presentation about Victorian bicycles. They will travel to Bellingham from Port Townsend on their historic bikes, Gabriel on his 1887 Singer Challenge bicycle.

The show is a series of nude portraiture created through collaboration between model and photographer with a focus on pride in one's self.
